The house
She is said to be over 400 years old... It's probably true.
Located 1h30 from Lisbon airport, 2h from Porto, the Casal dos Frades is the ideal starting point to discover the centre of Portugal.
On its fully enclosed wooded land, it offers multiple places to rest, relax…
Whether on the patio, by the pool, in the summer kitchen or on the terrace, you will enjoy breakfast in peace.
If the weather is capricious, it will be in the large room of the bar that you can be tempted by a small homemade cocktail...
Information and conditions
Arrivals : between 16:00 and 20:00

Departure : no later than 11:00 a.m.
Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 10:00.
Do not hesitate to inform us of special diets (vegetarian, gluten-free, protein…)
A heated salt pool is available in season
(March to October).
Its use is possible from 9am to 8pm.
Towels are provided.
The rooms and common areas have free Internet access, as well as a free computer space
Free public parking is available a few metres from the house
With rare exceptions, we do not offer guest tables. A very good restaurant will welcome you a few meters away...

For the well-being and health of all, the rooms and common rooms are non-smoking
The price of our rooms varies depending on the season.
- It includes the rental of the room for 1 or 2 people
- breakfast : 5€/pers
- Municipal tourist tax of 1€/night/pers
The different accesses to the house and the many stairs do not allow us to accommodate people with reduced mobility
For safety reasons (stairs, swimming pool,...) and for the tranquillity of all, children under 12 years old are not allowed
Our four-legged friends are allowed provided they stand well!
